Introduction to Wombling
Welcome to the Wonderful World of Litter Picking Firstly, welcome to the group. You will find we are a friendly bunch & when restrictions are lifted we look forward to seeing you at one of our group picks. In the meantime, please feel free to pick in your local area with one other buddy (per current guidelines). It’s not rocket science, acquire a litter grabber, bag and off you go! We ask that wombles complete the litter log to record the bags picked and we usually publish this information weekly. http://bit.ly/NorthantsLitterWombles.
Please also take a look at the Health & Safety Guide where you can find our risk assessment. Most councils will loan out equipment and some may even be happy for you to keep it but if you want to buy your own I have found litter pickers/grabbers in Poundland (£3), Amazon (around £7-13) and Helping Hands Environmental (£16). You get what you pay for!
